On Monday, April 1, concluded the international Art Paris Art Fair 2013, which had brought 143 galleries from 20 countries under the magnificent domes of Grand Palais. J.Bastien Art from Bruxelles brought artist Zhu Wei's sculpture China China to the fair this year. 2013年4月1日，巴黎国际艺术博览会在法国巴黎大皇宫博物馆著名的穹顶下盛大开幕，此次博览会汇集了来自20个国家的143家画廊，来自比利时的J. Bastien画廊携朱伟雕塑作品参加了此次展览。

From December 29 2012 to March 3 2013, "RE-INK: Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary Ink and Wash Painting 2000-2012" was presented at Hubei Museum of Art. Curated by Lu Hong, art director of Shenzhen Art Museum, this exhibition invited Ji Shaofeng, deputy director of Hubei Museum of Art to be the acdemic moderator, and it will display over 200 works with the theme of "Ink and Wash" by 62 contemporay artists nationwide. From April 1 to April 18 2013, "RE-INK" will be presented in Beijing Today Art Museum. 2012年12月28日至2013年3月3日，由深圳美术馆艺术总监鲁虹担任策展人，湖北美术馆副馆长冀少峰为学术主持的“再水墨：2000－2012中国当代水墨邀请展”于湖北美术馆展出。此次展览汇聚了来自62位当代艺术家以“水墨”为题材的200余件作品。2013年4月1日至4月18日，“再水墨”将于北京今日美术馆展出。

From 14-28 March 2013 as part of Asia Week New York Sotheby’s SI2 Gallery will present an exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings entitled SHUIMO. The exhibition features 14 of the leading artists working in the medium today. It is also the first exhibition of Asian art held at Sotheby’s SI2 Gallery. 作为纽约亚洲艺术周的重要活动之一，中国当代艺术展”SHUIMO | 水墨“将于2013年3月14日至28日期间在纽约苏富比总部大楼的SI2画廊展出。展览精选了14位迄今一直致力于水墨领域的顶尖艺术家的近作。这也是苏富比SI2画廊自成立以来的首个亚洲艺术展。

The annual Midi Awards ceremony was held successfully at M space (formerly the Wukesong Indoor Stadium basketball training hall) in Beijing on December 16. The fourth Midi Awards this year is still a big event for Rock and Roll fans. Eight bands brought fascinating performances which made audiences crazy. Being fond of Rock and Roll, Zhu Wei was invited as guest to give the Best Album Art award to Iron Kite band this year. 一年一度的中国摇滚迷笛颁奖礼12月16日在北京五棵松体育馆M空间（原五棵松体育馆篮球训练馆）成功举办。今年已经第四届的颁奖礼依旧是一个摇滚乐迷的盛会，8支乐队带来了精彩的演出，使现场乐迷大呼过瘾。一直对摇滚乐情有独钟的朱伟作为嘉宾为铁风筝乐队颁发了最佳专辑设计奖。

The 2012 Yoga Midi Music Festival, a four day rock and roll extravaganza, will be held August 23-26 in Huaxi Park, Guiyang. It is the first time Midi Festival comes to southwest China. As one of the most major parts of the 2012 Huaxi Summer Arts Festival, Yoga Midi Festival will be a platform for musicians from all around the world. The festival already has some huge names in rock lined up, including the godfather of Chinese rock, Cui Jian, along with rockers Miserable Faith, Mu Ma & Third Party, and Yaksa. Qiu Ye of Confucius Says, Second Hand Rose and Hanggai. The festival will also feature local groups from Guiyang. 为期四天的2012迷笛哟嘎音乐节将于8月23日至26日在贵阳花溪公园举办。这是迷笛音乐节受邀首次进军大西南。作为"2012贵阳花溪之夏艺术节"的主打板块之一，中国第一户外音乐节品牌"迷笛"即将再次成为世界音乐人交流的平台。此次哟嘎迷笛音乐节演出阵容强大，“摇滚乐之父”崔健、痛仰、木玛& Third Party、夜叉、子曰秋野、二手玫瑰、杭盖等乐队都将齐聚现场，同时也有一批带有贵州本土音乐特色的音乐团体加入演出。

Hosted by Today Art Museum, sponsored by the Aussino Wines, “The Boat of 2012 - Aussino Cup Annual Nomination Exhibition for Students of Contemporary Art Academies” was held at Today Art Museum on July 18th 2012. The nomination exhibition started from 2006 has been widely recognized in the art world during last seven years. 2012年7月18日，由今日美术馆主办，富隆酒业冠名赞助的“2012之舟：‘富隆杯’当代艺术院校大学生年度提名展”颁奖典礼在今日美术馆隆重举行。 “大学生提名展”启动自2006年，在7年的探索实践中得到了艺术界的广泛认可。

The Boat of 2012 "Aussino Cup" received a total of over 10000 pieces of works by more than 3000 students. The finalist includes 133 artworks, covering Chinese painting, oil painting, print, sculpture, mixed media, installations, photography, video and multimedia. The Review Committee determines the works winning awards by comprehensively considering votes and scores. Review Committee: Annetter Bellwood, Dong Bingfeng, Gu Wenda, He Guiyan, Jiang Lu, Li Xu, Liu Qinghe, Liu Yi, Song Dong, Tian Kai, Valerie Palmer, Wang Guangyi, Xu Lei, Xu Ning, Yin Jinan, Zhang Zikang, Zhu Wei, Zhu Zhu. 2012“富隆杯”大学生提名展共收到3000多位参赛者的超过10000件作品，最终入围作品共计133件，涵盖中国画、油画、版画、雕塑、综合材料、装置、摄影、影像、跨媒体艺术作品等。经评委审慎考核，选出最终获奖作品。评委名单：Annetter Bellwood、董冰峰、谷文达、何桂彦、姜陆、李旭、刘庆和、刘溢、宋冬、田恺、Valerie Palmer、王广义、徐累、徐宁、尹吉男、张子康、朱伟、朱朱。

Gu Wenda Award, Liu Yi Award, Wang Guangyi Award, Chris Wainwright Award, and Zhu Wei Award - the awards named after established artists - were received by He Yingjie, Gao Guorong from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Zhong Ping from Beijing Normal University, Jiang Peiyuan from Chelsea College of Art and Design of London, and Yao Hao from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts respectively. Zhang Yifan from Central Academy of Fine Arts won the Academy Award. In addition there are 3 gold medal winners, 5 silver medal winners and 12 bronze medal winners. Curator Award winner was a curator team “This Side”, whose members are Liu Yang, Liu Hui and Zhang Xueting. 本届提名展以艺术家命名的奖项－谷文达奖、刘溢奖、王广义奖、Wainwright奖及朱伟奖，分别由来自中央美术学院的何应杰、高国荣，来自北京师范大学的钟萍、来自伦敦大学切尔西艺术设计学院的姜培源和来自天津美术学院的姚浩获得。中央美院的张一凡获得了本次展览的学院奖，此外还颁出金奖3名，银奖5名，铜奖12名以及优秀奖17名。此次展览最佳策展团队奖由刘洋、刘徽、张雪婷组成的“此岸”展览单元策展团队摘得。

The three-day Midi Festival Beijing 2012 and two-day Midi Festival Shanghai 2012 were held successfully in both cities. This year, the music festival is themed with PM 2.5, paying more attention on the growing environmental problems in China. PM 2.5 refers to those tiny particles (both solid particles and liquid droplets) in the air that are two and a half microns or less in diameter. Just owing to tiny size, PM 2.5 is believed to pose the largest health risks as they can easily lodge deeply into lungs. 三天的北京迷笛音乐节、两天的上海迷笛音乐节在这两座城市成功举办。今年迷笛音乐节的主题是PM2.5，促使人们对中国的环境问题投以更多关注。PM2.5是指大气中直径小于或等于2.5微米的颗粒物（包括固态与液态的颗粒物）。由于体积微小，PM2.5更容易进入人的呼吸系统深处，对人体健康的危害也更大。

Midi Festival 2012 is coming. After their last cooperation in 2006, the organizer of the Festival invited artist Zhu Wei again for the image of his artwork. Zhu's woodblock print has been used as image of the Festival's published official posters. During the Festival, MV In Bloom Fully Open and sidelights directed by Zhu Wei will also be shown. The Midi Festival 2012 will be held from April 21 to 22 at Century Park, Shanghai, and from April 29 to May 1 at Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park, Beijing. 2012年迷笛音乐节即将到来。继2006年合作后，音乐节主办方再次邀请艺术家朱伟提出使用其作品，以朱伟的版画为原型的音乐节官方海报已经发布。音乐节期间也会放映朱伟执导的MV以及音乐记录片等。2012迷笛音乐节将于4月21－22日在上海浦东世纪公园、4月29日－5月1日在北京顺义奥林匹克水上公园举行。

During Art Fair Tokyo, a small solo exhibition of Zhu Wei's artworks was held at Frederick Harris Gallery of Tokyo American Club from March 26 to April 8. The exhibition is curated and organized by Tobin Ohashi Gallery in Tokyo. Zhu Wei's ink paintings, prints and sculpture were shown. 在东京艺术博览会期间，经东京美国会邀请，由Tobin Ohashi画廊策展主办的朱伟小型个人作品展于2012年3月26日起在东京美国会的Frederick Harris画廊展出。此次展览展出了朱伟的数件水墨、版画及雕塑作品。

Group exhibition The Contemporary Scholar Studio:Ink Paintings and Works of Art has been held as part of the Asia Week 2012 in New York. Asia Week New York 2012 is a collaboration among thirty-three leading international Asian art specialists, five major auction houses, and nineteen museums and Asian cultural institutions that took place throughout metropolitan New York from March 16-24. Top international Asian art specialists from US, Canada, England, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan brought their representative Asian artworks to the event. Auction houses including Sotheby's, Christie's, Doyle’s, Bonhams and iGavel held sixteen Asian art auctions and recorded record-breaking prices in many categories during the week. The Museums in the list - the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, etc. - had numerous exhibitions, lectures and special events.
